Episode 16 of “Moving” Plot: Teaching life, how is it? Lee Mi-Hyun’s question made Choi Il-Hwan recall his past as a soldier turned black operative. Perhaps during these days, Choi Il-Hwan feels that being a teacher who can protect and love students would be more preferable than being a black operative. In order to shake off the suspicious man who was following Hui-Soo and Kim Bong-Seok on the bus, Jeon Gye-Do drove recklessly on the road, ultimately driving straight into the police station.

Episode 17 of “Moving” Plot :When Kim Bong-Seok was not around, Hui-Soo was attacked by the North Korean power holders at the sports center. In order to save Hui-Soo, Kim Bong-Seok’s abilities awakened. However, facing the North Korean power holders, both of them were unsure how to deal with the situation. At school, Lee Mi-Hyun and Jang Ju-Won discovered that the North Korean power holders planned to eliminate them and even intended to take away files related to potential power holders.

Moving“This week’s two episodes are very short, actually they could have been combined into one episode without much difference. The scenes in episodes 16-17 of “Moving” jump between Jeongwon High School and the sports center. The writer brings together the storylines of the power holders and introduces the terrifying enemy they will face, who is a power holder from North Korea.

In this school scene, Lee Mi-Hyun and Jang Ju-Won not only reunite but also show great chemistry. The writer allows them to demonstrate their skills as former black operatives. Additionally, what’s great about these two episodes of “Moving” is that Choi Il-Hwan’s character is also included.

Kdrama – Moving – episode 16 Recap

“Episode 16 of “Moving”: Continuing from the events in Episode 15, Jeon Gye-Do discovers a mysterious individual with powers on the bus. He tries his best to drive the bus to the police station, but this strange man disappears instantly. On the other hand, Lee Mi-Hyun tries to extract some information about Choi Il-Hwan’s background from him.

Choi Il-Hwan joined the National Intelligence Service between 2001 and 2004 and now aspires to become a black agent. Although he is not a power holder himself, he knows about black agents mainly because eight years ago during an operation against armed rebels, he encountered Jo Rae-Hyuk for the first time.

At that time, he had plans to eliminate North Korean threats but was also motivated by witnessing a black agent saving everyone during that mission when he felt powerless against losing comrades. This incident inspired him to become part of those who assist black agents.

After understanding what sacrifices being a black agent entails, Choi Il-Hwan accepts missions to uncover potential power holders and cultivate them as national talents for safeguarding national security.

Min Yong-Jun emphasizes that these missions must be approached objectively. Consequently, Choi Il-Hwan becomes a teacher at Jeongwon High School and even serves as Jeon Gye-Do’s homeroom teacher while discovering his powers and continuously monitoring and training him.

However, Jo Rae-Hyuk grows impatient and resorts to radical methods in order to force Jeon Gye-Do into revealing his powers. Despite Jeon Gye-Do’s ability remaining undetected due to his restraint, Choi Il-Hwan decides it would be best for him if Jeon Gye-Do applies for admission into the performing arts department.

Later on, Choi Il-Hwan finds another power holder named Hong Sung-Hwa (code name Na-Ju) through her daughter Se-Eun. While Choi Il-Hwan is delighted to discover another power child, he is unaware that Yang Se-Eun has been diagnosed with cancer and dies during training.

Kdrama – Moving – episode 16 Ending

In the ending of Episode 16: Losing Yang Se-Eun deeply saddens Choi Il-Hwan, but life must go on. Years pass without finding any power holders until 2014 when he misses an opportunity to recruit a child who can manipulate time.

As a result, he transfers schools. In 2015, Yoon Sung-Wook arrives at Jeongwon High School to report all the details, which leaves Choi Il-Hwan somewhat unhappy. This year also marks the enrollment of Kim Bong-Seok, Hui-Soo, and Lee Gang-Hoon.

Returning to the present timeline, Jang Ju-Won visits Jeongwon High School in search of Choi Il-Hwan while Lee Mi-Hyun uses an excuse to leave and warns Jang Ju-Won about the presence of surveillance cameras.

Simultaneously, she eavesdrops on their conversation. Yoon Sung-Wook is then killed by a cleaning lady at school who was aware of the surveillance cameras and listening devices in place.

Upon hearing Jang Ju-Won’s suspicions about Choi Il-Hwan, she immediately alerts reinforcements (power holders and soldiers from North Korea). Using her senses, Lee Mi-Hyun quickly realizes that this cleaning lady is not as innocent as she seems.”

Kdrama – Moving – episode 17 Recap

In episode 17 of “Moving”, when Lee Mi-Hyun and Kim Doo-Sik were dating in the past, Lee Mi-Hyun was curious about how Kim Doo-Sik could fly and fly so well. Continuing from the end of episode 16 of “Moving”, Kim Bong-Seok and Hui-Soo come to the sports center for self-practice, but what they didn’t expect is that the power person on the bus also follows them~

Just after Kim Bong-Seok leaves the sports center, a man sneaks in to confirm whether Hui-Soo is a power person. In the end, he discovers her regenerative ability. Just as he is about to confirm Hui-Soo’s abilities again, Kim Bong-Seok senses through his strong sensory perception that Hui-Soo is in danger.

He overcomes his fear of not having confidence in controlling flight power and flies directly into the sports center to save Hui-Soo. Of course, this also lets the man discover Kim Bong-Seok’s flying power.

On another side at school, Lee Mi-Hyun suspects something strange about a cleaning lady because she saw a deceased physical education teacher under the principal’s desk. Lee Mi-Hyun deliberately turns off the lights and engages in combat with her opponent using sensory powers in darkness.

Finally, Lee Mi-Hyun realizes that there is more than one cleaning lady present and takes advantage of chaos to escape while leaving behind traces of her escape. In fact, Lee Mi-Hyun hides in a corner eavesdropping on conversations between the cleaning ladies and their accomplices to find out who these people really are.

It turns out that it was part of their mission as cleaning ladies to find files and eliminate relevant individuals. North Korea initially sent out these cleaning ladies just to investigate suspicious locations but unexpectedly discovered South Korea’s scheme for cultivating future generations of power users. This prompts North Korea to send Kim Deok-Yoon to carry out a plan to destroy the cultivation of power users and retrieve the files.

Kdrama – Moving – episode 17 Ending

In the ending of episode 17 of “Moving”, we return to the present. Kim Deok-Yoon appears in front of Choi Il-Hwan and Jang Ju-Won, clearly indicating his intention to obtain files on potential power users. The cleaning lady is angered by Lee Mi-Hyun and insists on finding her for confrontation. Meanwhile, Lee Mi-Hyun goes to the electrical room at school to shut off all electricity.

Kim Deok-Yoon demands that Choi Il-Hwan hand over the files (which Choi Il-Hwan naturally refuses). On another side, Bang Ki-Soo tries to find the files from Choi Il-Hwan’s position. In the hallway, Lee Gang-Hoon encounters Park Chan-Il who possesses super strength power but he doesn’t know that Park Chan-Il’s target is himself~

At home, Lee Jae-Man’s father anxiously waits for his son and upon hearing his son’s agonizing screams over the phone, he immediately goes to school personally looking for him.

Choi Il-Hwan discovers Bang Ki-Soo being beaten up and even though he has no abilities to fight back against their assailant, as a teacher he still uses his own body as a shield for Bang Ki-Soo, saving him from being shot dead~

2023 Kdrama – Moving – episode 16+17 : 3 highlights Explained

kdrama – Moving Review:Subjective and personal thoughts will both influence your judgment.

In episode 16 of “Moving,” it turns out that Choi Il-Hwan doesn’t have any power. He was simply a military officer who first met and collaborated with Jang Ju-Won and Jo Rae-Hyuk eight years ago. He had knowledge about the black operatives and said that they saved everyone during the mission in 1996.

This story can be traced back to episodes 12+13 of “Moving” in that year, when Jang Ju-Won, as a civil servant, felt useless in this world and decided to do what he wanted with the encouragement of Hwang Ji-Hee. He voluntarily joined the military to catch an escaped armed spy. This story coincidentally intersects with Choi Il-Hwan.

The connection between Jang Ju-Won and Choi Il-Hwan lies in that bullet (the second bullet left on Jang Ju-Won’s hand). At that time, Jang Ju-Won took a bullet for Choi Il-Hwan from an armed invader from North Korea, essentially saving his life.

I find it interesting whether Choi Il-Hwan, as a black operative, will make different choices after encountering his savior Jang Ju-Won? For Choi Il-Hwan, his work as a powerful figure is like being an admired hero deep within his heart. Min Yong-Jun specifically told him: “Do you know what a black operative is?

It’s someone who works for the country while hiding their identity. Hiding your identity means keeping secrets from family and friends. Can you accept that? Subjectivity and personal thoughts will affect your judgment, so you must remain objective and avoid unnecessary emotions.” If Choi Il-Hwan learns about Min Yong-Jun’s personal interests and conspiracies, will his gratitude towards Jang Ju-Won become a turning point for him to help him?

Especially from the previous episodes of “Moving” until these two episodes, we can see that Choi Il-Hwan has been showing a lot of love for children. In the seventh episode of “Moving,” Choi Il-Hwan was constantly criticized by the physical education teacher because he found out that the child with power was too slow in his actions.

The physical education teacher even tampered with the basketball hoop. At that time, Choi Il-Hwan was unhappy with the teacher’s radical approach to pushing students. This is echoed in Episode 16 of “Moving,” where Jo Rae-Hyuk hopes to force Jeon Gye-Do using more aggressive and dangerous methods, but Choi Il-Hwan’s first concern is always for his students rather than the mission.

Episode 16 of “Moving” devotes a lot of space to depicting Choi Il-Hwan’s own kindness and compassion as a character, especially how much he is liked by his students. This emotional connection makes him even more reluctant to let them fall into Min Yong-Jun’s trap.

These children are closely related to Choi Il-Hwan as a character, especially emotionally. I really like how Episode 16 of “Moving” continues to explore the emotional ties between being a black operative and other people, influencing their future choices.

Perhaps Choi Il-Hwan prefers being an ordinary high school teacher rather than a black operative – this is evident in Episode 17 when he holds Bang Ki-Soo protectively, showing that he prioritizes his role as a teacher in safeguarding his students.

kdrama – Moving review :When you truly want to fly, don’t be afraid of falling.

“At first, I couldn’t fly well. I was afraid of falling down, so I couldn’t fly well because I was already scared before flying. No matter how high or far I flew, I would always come back down. However, as long as it’s not a crash landing, it can still be considered flying. The key is not just flying but also landing properly.

Therefore, to fly well means to land well.” In the beginning of episode 17 of “Moving,” the screenwriter cleverly connects Lee Mi-Hyun and Kim Doo-Sik’s discussion about flying techniques with their father-son relationship using the concept of power.

Kim Bong-Seok understands his father’s feeling of power in flight, especially since he lacked confidence in his own ability to fly in the past and was saved by Lee Gang-Hoon before him.

For Kim Bong-Seok, power should not be a hidden monster ability but rather a power used for protection. In episode 17 of “Moving,” Kim Bong-Seok directly flies into the sports center to save Hui-Soo. This scene echoes his previous guilt and self-blame for not being able to save Hui-Soo before Lee Gang-Hoon did and his lack of confidence.

Kim Bong-Seok shows bravery and overcomes his fear of lacking confidence by displaying his newfound courage through flight. Now that Kim Bong-Seok has natural talent for flight powers combined with a strong bond between him and his father Kim Doo-Sik, even though they are physically apart from each other, seeing how much their son has grown and mastered flight powers thanks to their words will surely make Kim Doo-Sik proud.Especially in the ending scene if Kim Doo-Sik could see how well Kim Bong-Seok can fly and protect Hui-Soo, he would definitely feel comforted.”

kdrama – Moving review :South Korea vs. North Korea: Power Struggle Leads to Internal Conflict

In episode 17 of “Moving,” the screenwriter has set up a lot of suspense and left us at a tense moment. The next three episodes will be the outbreak of war between the two countries, with all the powerful figures and North Korean organizations coming together. The main location will be… Additionally, Min Yong-Jun’s crimes have not been exposed yet, so if they resolve the North Korean agents in the final three episodes next week, it should lead to uncovering Min Yong-Jun’s misdeeds.

1. School: Lee Mi-Hyun, Jang Ju-Won, and Lee Jae-Man will gather at Jeongwon High School to deal with North Korean agents. Although these two episodes were shorter in length, they were well-designed in terms of bringing together different storylines. Now we only have the final conclusion left.

2. Sports Center: Kim Bong-Seok and Hui-Soo are at the sports center. Who will come to save them? I think it might be Kim Doo-Sik!!!! Or maybe Lee Mi-Hyun will find Kim Bong-Seok first. Even though she doesn’t know that he hasn’t returned home, with Lee Mi-Hyun’s keen senses, she should be able to track down his whereabouts.

I really like how calm Lee Mi-Hyun is (that shot when she dealt with the cleaning lady was cool XD). Jang Ju-Won also shows her determination and endurance from her past as a black operative. In “Moving,” each storyline involving powerful figures revolves around their role as protectors for their children and gives each character someone they need to confront or deal with.

Personally, I quite like how Choi Il-Hwan is specifically tasked by the screenwriter to save Bang Ki-Soo who doesn’t possess any power himself. Through Choi Il-Hwan’s character in “Moving,” viewers are shown that even those without power won’t shy away from protecting others. Especially when we see Choi Il-Hwan tightly embracing Bang Ki-Soo, hoping that he can spare Jeong Gi-Su, it truly highlights the greater responsibility of being a teacher for Choi Il-Hwan.

Do you know why things turned out this way? It’s all because of that guy from South Korea, Kim Doo-Sik. He’s the one who caused all this trouble. Is there some connection between Kim Doo-Sik and North Korea? Because after Kim Doo-Sik disappeared without a trace in 1994, it was rumored that North Korea gained intelligence on training powerful individuals in July of that year.

Could it be due to Kim Doo-Sik leaking information? I don’t think so. This predicament should be traced back to Min Yong-Jun designing Kim Doo-Sik to carry out secret missions for North Korea in 1994. I guess at that time, Kim Doo-Sik probably inflicted heavy damage on North Korea but also made them aware of the existence of powerful individuals.

Therefore, they started gathering intelligence about these individuals in July of the same year and now they have come to South Korea to eliminate them as revenge and because they do not allow South Korea to possess powerful individuals.
